Litanghe Bridge
理塘河特大桥
Liewaxiang, Sichuan, China
(771) feet high / (235) meters high
2,067 foot span / 630 meter span
2026

The longest span towerless suspension bridge crossing in the world, the Litanghe Bridge is one of 3 major suspension bridges along the amazing G7611 Xichang to Shangri Expressway. The main span of 630 meters rests between two tunnels with the deck being supported only by the two main cables that are anchored directly into tunnels bored into the mountain cliffs nearly 300 meters above the Litang River.

Just 20 kilometers to the south of Litanghe Bridge is the gargantuan 1,620 meter main span of the Woluohe Bridge, the longest span high level bridge in the world with a deck 500 meters high.

The G7611 expressway eventually goes to the popular Lugu Lake tourist area with a future extension that will eventually go all the way to Shangri-La.
