Located on a bluff overlooking the Hudson River, the Palisades Cyclone was one of the Traver triplets. Cyclone had an unprecedented onslaught of steep, heavily banked spiral drops. The tight layout also featured a wild figure 8 that tossed riders from side to side as the train switched directions with banking of more than 70 degrees.
