Houtingxi Bridge is one of Eastern China's higher beam spans with a deck approximately 150 meters above the Changtan creek. The bridge is located along route G1517 on the expressway between Putian to Yanling.
The 867 meter long structure has a main span of 150 meters on top of piers as tall as 119 meters.
