One of the highest bridges in Northeastern China, this prestressed concrete beam bridge is part of the G12 Hunchun-Ulanhot Expressway that skirts 39 miles (63 kms) along the North Korean border between Tumen and Hunchun. Banshigou is a continuous rigid frame structure with a total length of 405.42 meters and a maximum pier height of 70.648 meters. The main beam span is composed of a single-cell box with a width of 12.25 meters and 5.8 meters at the bottom. The main beam is 6 meters deep over the piers and 2.8 meters deep at midspan. The foundations are composed of nine piles with a diameter of 1.8 meters.
