Chuanyandong Bridge towers high above local road S212 on the Liupanshui to Weining expressway that skirts along the southern edge of Liupanshui City.

The dual viaducts are 474 and 504 meters long and have piers as tall as 131 meters with span configurations of 66 +120x2 +66 meters and approach spans of 30 meters.
