One of the largest and highest beam bridge viaducts on the north-south Longshan-Yongshun-Jishou expressway, the Longbizui Bridge is composed of 3 main spans of 170 meters atop piers as tall as 119 meters. During construction the viaduct was called the Morong Bridge.

The bridge can easily be seen alongside the older 2-lane S229 road.
