Longli Grassland Glass Footbridge is located at the top of the chairlift that leads to the popular Longli Grassland Scenic area. Longli is the Chinese word for Dragon and is named after the local county that has been aggressively promoting the region to tourists with new hotels, restaurants and scenic viewing areas.

The most prominent attraction is the giant Duohua Glass Bridge located 8 kilometers south of the Longli Grassland glass bridge. Duohua has the longest continuous set of glass panels in the world as well as the highest ever installed on a bridge at 288 meters above the Duohua River.

Longli and Duohua are just the latest Chinese footbridges to cash in on the glass bridge craze that started in 2016 with the opening of the Zhangjiajie Glass Footbridge in Hunan Province.
