Pianpo Bridge is the most recent of several high beam bridges that cross the deep valley occupied by Qianlingshan Park in western Guiyang City. The crossing is part of the 2nd Ring Road on the northern edge of the city.
The two parallel east-west viaducts carry six lanes of traffic just over 100 meters above the north-south 6-lane Yansha boulevard that travels along the bottom of the Qianling valley.
