Guihua Bridge Daninghe
巫山桂花大桥
Wushan, Chongqing, China
(443) feet high / (135) meters high
1,804 foot span / 550 meter span
2021
A beautiful steel box deck suspension bridge with curvy, oval-shaped blue and white towers, the Guihua crossing of the Daning River is yet another pleasing addition to Wushan's growing collection of spectacular bridge spans.
Located where the famous Yangtze River 3 Gorges meets the Lesser 3 Gorges of the Daning River, Wushan city has become a hot spot of spectacular arch spans, beam spans and even a cable stayed bridge. But Guihua is the first regional suspension bridge even if it is largely hidden from view being located several kilometers upstream of the mouth of the Daninghe. The main suspension bridge has a total length of 790 meters and a width of 22 meters.
