Gexi Bridge is one of several high spans on the Wencheng to Taishun expressway. The two separate viaducts are reportedly 97 meters high.
The most famous crossing on the route is the Hongxi Bridge that is currently the highest extradosed bridge in the world with a deck approximately 230 meters high. Zhejiang and Fujian Provinces are home to most of eastern China's highest spans.
Other high bridges on this expressway include Nanshan and Nanpuxi Bridges among others.
