Tianyundu Glass Footbridge
天云渡玻璃吊桥
Yangshan, Guangdong, China
(656) feet high / (200) meters high
(1,181) foot span / (360) meter span
2020
One of the highest footbridges in the world, the Tianyundu Glass Footbridge opened in 2020 across a spectacular canyon about 2 hours drive north of Shenzhen.
The asymmetrical suspension span has short towers and anchorages higher up on the slopes than the deck elevation. The exact length of the deck is unknown but probably around 300 meters.
