Opened in late 2013, the 1 kilometer long Mayuan Bridge is the largest structure on the first section of expressway that opened between Liuzhi and Zhenning, Guizhou where it connects with the G60 expressway. The new 4-lane expressway will eventually extend from Zhenning to Liupanshui and allow easy driving from Liupanshui to Guiyang city.
The Mayuan Bridge crosses a shallow reservoir from a small downstream dam with a span configuration of 13x40+ 80+150+80+ 3x40 meters for a total length of 950 meters.
