Sky Bridge 721
Dolní Morava, Czech Republic
312 feet high / 95 meters high
2,365 foot span / 721 meter span
2022
Completed in 2022, the Sky Bridge 721 is the longest span footbridge in the world with a clear span between cable saddles of 700 meters. This world record far exceeds the 567 meter main span of the Gandaki Golden Footbridge in Nepal. The Sky Bridge walkway is 1.2 meters wide and is supported by 6 main cables and is stabilized by a number of wind cables.
Located just a few kilometers east of the border with Poland, the Czech tourist site first became popular in 2015 when the Sky Walk platform opened. This 55 meter tall observation tower contains a number of elevated walkways that criss-cross high above the surrounding forest as well as an aluminum slide.
The mountain has a 2 kilometer educational trail that winds back to the starting point as the 721 bridge can only be crossed in one direction. There is also a Wiegand alpine coaster and a chairlift ride.
