Aikou Bridge is one of several large beam spans on the north-south Longshan-Yongshun-Jishou expressway with a span configuration of 2x30 +65 +2x120 +65 +11x30 meters. The nearby Longbizui Bridge is the largest and highest of the beam spans along the route.

The bridge crosses the Liangcha River and can easily be seen from a local road just off of the older 2-lane S229 road.
