Ayihe Scenic Area is located around a rocky river canyon with cliffs that rise hundreds of meters. To allow visitors to access the the banks of the river, an elevator 180 meters tall was built with a shaft that drops riders 148.8 meters.
At the upper edge of the gorge there are cliffwalks that are connected by two slat style footbridges that might be scary to all but the bravest visitors.
