Baglung-Bhakunde Footbridge
पर्वत पुल
Baglung, Parbat, Nepal
(279) feet high / (85) meters high
(728) foot span / (222) meter span
(2018)
Although largely overshadowed by the giant Gandaki Golden Footbridge just to the east, the Baglung-Bhakunde Footbridge is another spectacular Nepal footbridge in a picture-perfect setting in the city of Baglung.
The bridge has a main span of approximately 222 meters. The nearby Gandaki Golden Footbridge is the longest footbridge span ever built in Asia at 567 meters. The entire Kali Gandaki River gorge region between Baglung and Kushma has become a museum of Nepal-style footbridges with at least 9 major spans of notable length and height.
