The highest road arch span in Yunnan Province, the Baishagou Bridge is one of the first high bridges to be constructed along the G5 expressway that goes north into Sichuan Province.

The 4-lane deck is supported on 2 large concrete box ribs that were constructed in sections supported temporarily with cable stays. Each of the approach spans and the spandrel spans over the arch are 14.2 meters long. The 265 meter long bridge is located at kilometer 139.
