Conn Viewing Platform
Conn, Flims, Grisons, Switzerland
(82) feet high / (25) meters high
(33) foot span / (10) meter span
2008

The Conn viewing platform consists of a simple triangular shaped platform of wood held in place by an inclined steel A-frame tower. The architecture is by Corinna Menn with engineering by Christian Menn.

The platform overlooks a section of the Vorderrhein River where a massive mountain-slide took place around 10,000 years ago, forcing the water to cut through the rock for the following 10,000 years.

The platform can only be reached by walking about an hour one way from the town of Flims.
