Hongshiliang Bridge
红狮梁特大桥
Yunyang, Chongqing, China
555 feet high / 169 meters high
591 foot span / 180 meter span
2010

The highest bridge on the G42 expressway between Yunyang and Fengjie, the Hongshiliang Bridge curves gracefully across the mouth of a deep river gorge 5 kilometers north of the Yangtze River. Constructed as two parallel bridges, the south viaduct is approximately 14 meters lower then the north viaduct. Much of the beauty of Hongshiliang Bridge comes from the gentle curve on a radius of 1,200 meters. Located at kilometer 114, the central span configuration is 6×25 +100+180+100 +7×25 meters. The second bridge has a configuration of 8×25 +100+180+100 +5×25 meters.
