The Jinshajiang Yunchuan Bridge was completed in 2015 to cross the new reservoir that formed behind the giant 161 meter high Xiangjiaba Dam. The 718 meter long bridge has two main piers 101 and 102 meters tall.

When the reservoir is full the 13 meter wide road deck is only about 45 meters above the lake surface.
