The Liuguanghe Arch Bridge crosses the famous Wujiang River within the spectacular Liuguanghe Scenic area. The 2-lane truss-arch leaps between two cliffs about 2 kilometers north of the much more famous Liuguanghe beam bridge on the Guibi road that is the highest beam bridge in the world.

The Liuguanghe arch also marks the upper end of the Wujiang Dam reservoir that extends just a few hundred meters further upstream of the crossing when the lake is at full level.

Concrete truss arch bridges were built throughout Western China in the 1990s and early 2000s before many of them were found to be structurally deficient. Some of have been replaced while others have like Liuguanghe are still holding up well.
