Located over the spectacular Mayan creek canyon on the remote Renchi expressway, the Mayangou Bridge is one of the highest beam spans in Northern Guizhou.

With one end of the viaduct terminating into a nearly vertical limestone wall, approach spans were only required on the opposite side with a span configuration of 96+180+96 +6x40 meters. The tallest pier is 110 meters.

The 4-lane Renchi expressway is located between Renhuai and Chishui cities and has several other large beam bridges including Tongzihe and Eralanghe which have piers that rank among the tallest in the world. Mayangou Bridge is probably located several kilometers east of Tuchengzhen near Guizhou's famous Chishuihe River.
