Muluogou Bridge is a balanced cantilever beam bridge on the upgraded local route S303 that parallels the Dongchuan Gele to Qiaojia Hulukou expressway that runs along the east side of the great Jinshajiang River in Yunnan Province. The main span is 135 meters.

Just to the east is the Shiliping Bridge on the Dongchuan Gele to Qiaojia Hulukou expressway.

Route S303 and the expressway run along the east side of the reservoir that will form behind the 277 meter tall Baihetan Dam. The Dongchuan to Qiaojia expressway has a number of high beam bridges as well as the giant Jinshajiang Qiaojia suspension bridge that will cross the reservoir at the northern end of the expressway near the Hulukou suspension bridge.
