The second highest bridge on the highway between Bogota and Villavicencio, Colombia, the Viaducto Pipiral opened in 2002. The bridge arcs across a steep mountainside creek with 3 equal sized prestressed concrete beam spans of 410 feet (125 mtrs). The 2-lane roadway is supported on a single cell concrete box girder with vertical walls.

Also on the Bogota-Villavicencio highway are the 150 and 90 meter high Puente Chirajara Bridges 10 kilometers to the West.
