Sayuhe Bridge is one of more then half a dozen high beam spans on the G85 expressway north of Zhaotong in the Sayuhe River valley. This last link of the G85 expressway was not completed until 2016 due to the difficult terrain that also required many long tunnels. One 20 kilometer stretch of this expressway area is 97% bridges and tunnels.
Sayuhe Bridge has a span configuration of 3x40 +80+2x150+80 +15x40 meters. The tallest pier measures 124 meters.
