Shiroyama Bridge
城山大橋
Nakatsugawa, Gifu, Japan
262 feet high / (80) meters high
541 foot span / 165 meter span
1983

One of Japan's early large scale deck truss bridges, the red beams of the Shiroyama Bridge make for a picture perfect scene across the Kiso River gorge. The deck is approximately 70 meters above the surface of the full reservoir or 80 meters above the original river surface level.

Also be sure to visit several other high bridges that cross this region of the Kiso River gorge including the Shinonomeo beam bridge and the Enakyoo arch bridge.
