The Tangjiahe Construction Footbridge was a catenary suspension footbridge that assisted in the construction of a 200 meter, 2-lane road concrete filled steel tubular arch that is part of a new 3rd level local highway that connects mountainous regions of Baojing County that have been separated by the deep gorge of the Tangjia River. The construction bridge was approximately 150 meters above the surface of the reservoir which is approximately 20 meters deep.
The 8.5 meter arch roadway has a total length of 280 meters with two 20 meter approach spans on either side of the main arch. The road bridge is approximately 160 meters above the surface of a reservoir that is approximately 20 meters deep.
