The Wanlamu Railway Bridge is the second highest bridge on the one-hour railway line between the tourist cities of Lijiang and Shangri-La that opened in 2021. The concrete cantilevered beam bridge has a span configuration of 64+120+64 meters on piers as tall as 82.5 meters.
Halfway along the route is the spectacular 250 meter high Jinshajiang Railway Bridge Hutiaoxia, one of the highest and longest rail suspension bridges in the world at the entrance to the famous Tiger Leaping Gorge.
