Located just north of Yunnan's largest city of Kunming, the Xiyoudong Glass Footbridge opened in 2018 within a popular private scenic tourist area that also includes a mountain water slide. The 190 meter span of Xiyoudong Bridge has glass panels from end to end making for a thrilling walk above the trees.

The nearby Xiyoudong expressway bridge is located just east of the Xiyoudong Glass Footbridge.
