Opened in 2010, the Viaducto de Contreras is a stealthy looking railway bridge with one of the longest concrete arch spans in Europe at 856 feet (261 mtrs). Located midway between Madrid and Valencia, the new high speed rail line spans the Contreras reservoir at the same location as the A3 highway bridges. An excellent short on the entire construction process of this beautiful new arch bridge can be downloaded here: http://us.videos.starmedia.com/video/iLyROoafJSHB.html
