Despite having a lift height of just 70 feet and a first drop of only 60 feet, the Riverview Bobs surprised riders with an intense series of drop-turns that slammed riders into the sides of the train. The track length of more than 3,235 feet was possible due to the flanged-wheel trains that had less friction than more conventional cars with additional side wheels. The layout had a long trek to the lift that allowed for 3 train operation.

Riverview Park had as many as 18 wood coasters throughout its history, a record that remains unequaled to this day.
