The Top of the Three Gorges Glass Platform is within one of the most popular scenic areas in China. The famous 3 Gorges of the Yangtze River are surrounded by peaks that rise more than 1,000 meters above the great river. While the platform does not cantilever out over the cliff, the edge of the structure is flush with a vertical drop of approximately 200 meters.
