The second highest crossing on the Xing Fen Ji Jin Expressway to Xingtai in Hebei Province, the Mingshui 1 Hao Bridge is located in a remote canyon west of the famous Hebei Xingtai Gorges Geopark. The remote region is a wonderland of limestone rock formations shaped like wedding cakes.
Squeezed between two tunnels, the Mingshui 1 Hao Bridge has 3 central spans of 150 meters resting on piers as tall as 105 meters.
