The Ulleong Sogeumsan Footbridge is the longest span pedestrian crossing in South Korea with a main span of 404 meters. Completed in 2022, the 2 meter wide tourist bridge is also the highest bridge in the country with a deck approximately 110 above the river canyon. The V-shaped cable suspender arrangement is matched by similar-shaped towers making it one of the most beautiful long span pedestrian crossings in the world. The center of the span contains several glass panels for photo opportunities.
The Ulleong Sogeumsan Footbridge is a sequel to the original Sogeumsan Footbridge located just one kilometer to the east as part of a trail more than 4 kilometers long that winds up and around Sogeum Mountain. At the east end of the span is the Ulleong Sky Tower.
