Malutang Bridge is one of two spectacular high bridges along the Malipo Expressway that goes from Malipo City, China to Tianbaozhen in Vietnam.
The 1,008 meter long bridge has a main cable stayed span configuration of 200+480+200 meters with a deck 173 meters above the full reservoir water level along the Nanwen River. The two main towers are 242.5 and 235 meters tall.
Dabihe Bridge is located several kilometers east and consists of a large prestressed beam span of 180 meters.
The ground elevation of the bridge axis is reported to be between 544.00 and 811 meters making for a relative height difference of about 267 meters.
