The first cantilevered bungy platform in the world, Taupo Bungy started in 1991 over the beautiful Waikato River canyon and is the most popular bungy site on the North Island of New Zealand. Jumpers can dip into the extremely blue waters of the river.
The support structure consists of a steel cantilevered triangular shaped solid beam truss.
