Huoyandong Bridge cuts across a deep gorge on the Zheng'an to Xishui Expressway near the northern border of Guizhou Province. The 104 km route travels through Zheng'an and Tongzi counties connecting the DaoWeng and Jiangxigu Expressways.
The skewed angle of the Huoyandong Bridge crossing makes for an asymmetrical structure with the tallest pier of 133 meters more then triple the height of the second main span pier.
