One of Chongqing's highest beam bridges, the giant Donghe #1 Bridge crosses high above a mountainous ravine with a main span configuration of 85+ 160+ 85 meters on piers as tall as 129 meters.
Donghe #1 Bridge is one of 4 high beam spans on the Chengkai Expressway between Chengkou and Kaixian in Northeast Chongqing, China. The other 3 high beam bridges include Nanchanggou, Shuanghekou Bridge Chengkai and Donghe #2 Bridge.
