Xujiagou Bridge
徐家沟大桥
Panzhihua, Sichuan, China
(427) feet high / (130) meters high
131 foot span / 40 meter span
2013
Located high up across a small creek overlooking the Jinshajiang River and the city of Panzhihua, the Xujiagou Bridge is unusual for being constructed with simple drop-in spans of 40 meters despite having piers more then 120 meters tall.
The only other viaduct in China to have simple beam spans atop piers so tall is the Guozigou approach viaduct in Xinjiang Province.
