Located on the S60 Expressway between Chongzhuo and Jingxi near the Vietnam border, the Gulongshan Bridge is located within the beautiful Gulongshan Scenic area. The tall tree-filled rock formations form a picture perfect backdrop to the 1 kilometer beam bridge.
If measured to the river level at the edge of the central span the bridge is around 170 meters high but only around 125 meters high directly below the center of the roadway.
The central section is comprised of 3 main spans of 120 meters on piers as tall as 106 meters.
