Mannu Bridge is the largest crossing on the 2-lane Sassari to Ittiri motorway that bypassed older local roads filled with dozens of twists and turns. Completed in 1995, the concrete cantilevered beam span of 160 meters sits atop piers as tall as 73.68 meters.

Mannu Bridge is tied with Omodeo Bridge as having the longest span of any bridge on Sardinia, Italy's largest island.
