The Dapanshan Scenic Area Elevator leads down into a small but beautiful side canyon of the larger Jiaxi River gorge. A short hike leads to a beautiful waterfall.
Just down the roaad is the 163 meter high Jiaxi Bridge that is one of the highest bridges within any of China's coastal provinces and carries a 2-lane road across the Jiaxi Brook. The mountainous region is popular with tourists looking to spend an afternoon away from the big cities of Shanghai, Hangzhou and Ningbo.
Also nearby is the Wulong Gorge Glass Footbridge.
