One of the highest beam bridges along the great G42 Hurong Expressway that traverses along the mountains on the north side of the Yangtze River 3 Gorges region, the 750 meter long Daping Number 1 or Yueliang Bridge is located about 20 kilometers east of Yunyang city. Located at kilometer 1,426, the bridge was 154 meters above the reservoir surface during my visit in 2011. The original river level is probably about 6 meters lower hence the official height of 160 meters.

The piers of Daping Number 1 Bridge are 104 and 101 meters tall.
