Zhongjianhe Railway Bridge is the longest span railway arch bridge on the Yifu HSR line east of Enshi City.

The main rib of the Zhongjianhe Railway Bridge is a 400 meter CFST or Concrete Filled Steel Tubular arch. The deck level spans are a continuous steel mixed beam with a configuration of (48+2×50+9X40+3×50+36) meters. The arch rise is 90 meters making for a span to rise ratio of 1/4.44. The truss rib depth at the top of the arch rib is 7.0 meters with the depth increasing to 12 meters at the foot of the arch. The diameter of the arch rib steel pipe is 1.8 meters with a wall thickness of 28-52mm. The internal filling is C60 self-compacting shrinking concrete. The total length of the bridge is 707.46 meters.

Two of the longest highlines ever constructed span between the two mountain slopes with spans of 1,433.5 and 1,108.8 meters.

To allow easy access to both sides of the canyon a temporary 362 meter sagging suspension bridge was built with a load limit of 50 tons.
